Matthew Patten was Political and Communications Director at the Centre for Social Justice. Previously, he was Chief Executive of the Mayor’s Fund for London, the Lord’s Taverners, and M&C Saatchi Sponsorship.

Matthew was elected a Brexit Party MEP between 2019 and the UK’s withdrawal from the EU on 31 January 2020 and was a member of the European Parliament’s Employment and Social Affairs Committee and the Delegation for Relations with Iran. He had previously been a Conservative district councillor.
