After training in the City, Adam practised as a lawyer for the British state for what turned out to be a very eventful decade. At the Department for Transport, he worked on the EU Exit process and helped to devise the framework of regulation that was created to control international travel during the Covid pandemic. Afterwards, his work at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) focused on airspace and aviation safety regulation reform, public law litigation, and the deepening of the CAA’s relationships with its sister regulators across the world.
